  1. Do you come into the home or can other arrangements be made?

    • As a mobile notary signing agent, I come directly to you. We can schedule to meet in a public place to make everyone feel comfortable about the transaction or I can provide a safe office space during the day and weekends for all parties during normal business hours.

  2. What precautions do you use during COVID-19?

    • Obsidian Closings follow CDC guidelines

      • Face mask over the mouth and nose

      • Limited contact (refrain from hugs, handshakes and close contact)

      • Hand sanitizer before and after appointments

      • Clean and disinfect pens, devices and Notary stamps

  3. What documents are needed for the closing appointment?

    • At least 2 forms of identification (1 Photo ID) will be needed for each appointment. Forms of IDs that are acceptable are listed below, this list is not exhaustive just examples of easily readied IDs.

      • Driver's License/State Issued ID

      • Passport

      • SS Card

      • Utility Bills

      • PA Firearms Card

      • Insurances Cards

      • Voter Registration Card

      • Organizational Membership Card

      • Pay stubs

      • Income Tax information

  4. I need to change my appointment time, date, or location?

    • If you need to change your appointment time or location, please reach out to me directly at least 1 hour before your scheduled appointment and we can collaborate on a time or new location that is convenient for all parties.

    • If you need to change the date of your closings, please reach out to your loan officer or title company as most real estate documents are date sensitive from the title company/lender.

  5. I have a hybrid signing but I am unsure what to do or what will happen during my closings?

    • I have handle over 100 hybrid or electronic closings. During these closings, I provide a device to capture electronic signatures and review all documents and walk each borrower through the same process and a standard packet.
